Captain Ben Moulton Funeral Information

Thursday, February 22nd, U.S. Marine Captain Ben Moulton will be brought home to rest in Emmett. The procession will travel through the intersection of Highway 44 & 16 in Star sometime between 4:45 & 5:15 p.m.

The procession will include formal military and police escorts along with 100+ motorcycles from the Patriot Guard. It is set to depart Boise airport no later than 4 PM and will travel west on I-84, north on Eagle Road, west on State Street and north on Highway 16 to Emmett where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.

The owner of the property on the NE corner of 16 & 44 has granted access so the public can safely gather to view the procession. Spectators are asked to park on Hamlin, Truman, or Shultz and are welcome to view from anywhere in the shaded yellow area along Highway 16 or 44. Please be respectful of the owner’s property as a thank you for this access.

Star Police have requested that vehicles not stop on State Highways 16 or 44 to ensure the safety of all observers.
