Christmas at the Riverhouse - A Weekend of Holiday Cheer!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join us this weekend to kick off the Christmas season with a full lineup of festive fun for the whole family.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7

8 AM - How the Grinch Stole Breakfast - Star Rec Bldg 11665 W. State St

Start your day with green pancakes and a visit from the Grinch!

The fun continues at the Star Riverhouse - 960 S. Main Street

10 AM - SWIDBA's Reindeer Ramble

Check-in begins at 9 AM at the Riverhouse Barn. Get moving and join in the fun!

11 AM to 4 PM - Sol Invictus Christmas Market

Shop local vendors and get ahead on your holiday shopping with unique, festive finds.

4 to 7 PM - Build an Ornament

Create your own holiday keepsake on the Block & Roll LEGO Bus (FREE while supplies last).

5 to 7 PM - Christmas at the Riverhouse

Sip on cocoa and enjoy cookies, courtesy of the Star Lions Club while you bid on your favorite Chamber of Commerce Christmas Tree, benefiting the Star Senior Center.

5:30 PM - Santa Arrives! Share your Christmas wishes and snap a festive photo with Santa.

6:00 PM - Mayor Chadwick Lights Up the Riverhouse and Christmas Tree

6:30 PM - Storytime with Santa - End the evening with a cozy Christmas story told by Santa himself.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8 - Star Riverhouse

12 to 4 PM - Sol Invictus Christmas Market -The holiday shopping continues with more local treasures!

5 to 9 PM - Cause with a Claus
