Movie Night at the Star Barn

Join us for a fun-filled summer at the Free Summer Movie Nights, hosted by the City of Star, Friends Community Church, and the Star Branch Library! Each month, we’ll feature a family-friendly movie along with themed activities, food, and community fun.
Movie Dates & Titles:
May 23 – Moana 2 (Summer Kickoff Event) In addition to Moana-themed activities, Star Recreation and the Star Library will have information on their summer programs and activities for kids.
June 20 – The Secret Life of Pets Kids can make their own animal ear headbands, enjoy a photo opportunity, and visit our petting zoo!
July 18 – The Incredibles Kids can design their own superhero masks, take photos, and then participate in our superhero training course!
Location: The Star Barn (SW corner of Star Road & 3rd Street)
Admission: Free!
Food: Hot dogs & popcorn provided by Friends Community Church
Event Schedule:
6:00 PM – Themed activities outside the Star Barn
7:00 PM – Movie inside the Star Barn
Important Notes:
Seating: The barn floor is hard cement, so bring chairs, cushions, or something comfortable to sit or lounge on.
Snacks: You’re welcome to bring your own movie snacks and drinks (no alcohol).
Pets: Please leave pets at home.
