Star Riverhouse

Interested in Booking? Follow these steps:

1. Review the availability calendar below before sending in a rental agreement request.
2. If your date is available, complete the "Riverhouse Rental Agreement" under the "Supporting Documents" section of this page.
3. If your date is available and your reservation is approved, you will receive an email confirmation and payment options within one week of submitting the rental agreement.  Your reservation will not appear on the calendar until your first payment has been made.
4. One week before your event you will be emailed check-in instructions.

About the Riverhouse

The Riverhouse is a beautiful Boise Riverfront property that was once a private home.  The City of Star acquired the property in November of 2013.  In 2019 Star City Council voted on improvements to the property making it a community center for all to enjoy.  Since then, the Riverhouse has been host to many city events like Hometown Celebration, concerts, and is the current location of our Recreation Department classes and summer camps.  The Riverhouse is also available to rent for private functions.

Facility Details

• Kitchen has side by side refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, double sink, dishwasher and large kitchen island  
• 2 Indoor bathrooms and 1 outdoor bathroom, all are ADA accessible
• Facility rental includes inside of house, back wrap-around deck, dance floor off the deck, and back yard area
• 15 - 6' rectangular plastic tables
• 10 - 5' round plastic tables
• 120 - plastic folding chairs
• A/V Screen with hookups
• 2 – large speakers with cordless microphone
• Max capacity is 110 seated with tables and chairs

Rates
Monday through Thursday  - $150/hour
Friday through Sunday - $200/hour with a 2-hour minimum or $2500 for full day access. 
$500 refundable security deposit if the facility is properly cleaned, and there are no damages.
One hour for setup before your rental time, and one hour for cleanup after your rental time are included free of charge.  Any additional time needed must be included in the rental amount.

Terms
50% of total fees and $500 security deposit due at the time of reservation.
Remainder payment due 30 days before the event.  If your event is booked in less than 30 days, full payment is due at the time of the booking.
If your event is canceled within 30 days of the event, the City of Star may retain 50% of the entire booking fee.
