2024 Dog License Renewals

It’s time for your dog’s new blue City of Star 2024 license tag!  

Pursuant to City of Star Municipal Code 4-4-6, all dogs older than six months of age residing within Star require a license.  Licenses for the year 2024 may be purchased starting approximately 30 days prior to the expiration date of 2023 licenses. 

Licensing appointments are available between 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  To book your appointment, please visit our BOOKING CALENDAR.  Star City Hall is located at 10769 West State Street, Star, Idaho. 

Please bring your completed 2024 Dog License Application, fee remittance, and copies of the spay/neuter proof and current rabies vaccination expiration date.  Most veterinary annual checkup receipts will have all the necessary info, you do not need to look up your pet’s original surgery receipt.  You can pay via check, cash, or credit card (a convenience fee applies for credit card purchases).
