946 South Main Surplus

The City of Star has declared the Mobile Home at 946 South Main Street in the City of Star as surplus and offers it for sale by sealed bid to the highest bidder with a minimum of $5,000 US Dollars to be paid by Cashier’s Check or Certified Funds to the City of Star at time of bid.  A bid bond in the amount of at 10% of the bid shall be included as a separate bond which may be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to comply with the complete removal of the Mobile Home within the time allowed.  All written bids must be hand delivered to the City of Star City Clerk’s Office (10769 West State Street, 2^nd Floor) no later than Friday September 8, 2023, by 5pm and include a timeline for removal.  The mobile home must be removed from the property without destroying or disturbing the mature trees no later than 30 days later.  All bids are final, and the city may accept or reject any bid.  The successful bidder shall have no more than thirty days to remove the Mobile Home.  In the event the successful bidder fails to remove the Mobile Home, the initial bid will be returned, and the bid bond may be forfeited to remove the Mobile Home or clean up the property if not satisfactory to the City of Star.  Bidder is responsible for all permits to remove, move and place the Mobile Home to an approved location.  The City of Star makes no warranties and is sold as is and where located.  Additional information and photos of the mobile home may be found on the City Website at www.staridaho.org
