Approved Vendors

The City of Star requires all vendors to apply for and receive a vendor permit before soliciting in the city.

If you are approached by a solicitor, please ask to see their city-issued vendor permit certificate. Each vendor that has been approved by the City is required to wear the City issued Vendor Permit Badge. If the solicitor is not licensed in the City of Star, please contact Law Enforcement by calling Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.

If you purchase goods or services from a vendor that does not have a permit, the city has no legal resources to help you if the transaction goes awry.
